The Water Palace of Tirtagangga - Karangasem Bali Indonesia
When entering the area 'The water palace of Tirtagangga' you will find a large swimming pool lined with statues and unique formation, as well as a beautiful fountain. The water park is well maintained with a variety of fresh water swimming pool and landscaped grounds. There is a clean pool to swim. Bring your bathing suit, and for a small additional fee, give it a try.
Not sure if it is fresh water or chlorinated but assume that fresh water. Water and pool were very clean. We did see adults and children who swim in this pool. A woman has her snorkeling equipment.
The pool is a stone and about 5 meters. Even if you do not go swimming, you can see the pool and photos. There are many other pools. There is a 500 years old banyan tree on the property worth seeing.
Check out the stepping stones in the pond one that allows you to walk around the pond all the statues in the pond. There are also two hotels on the property with a restaurant and spa that looked interesting. There is a backpacker and others are not, and seems to be part of the old palace grounds.
